That is sure looking realistic and even the pose looks very accurate for a trout looking for food amoungst the gravel on a gravel bar.

I agree with Herb. If there were "trout decoys" you nailed it with this one Dale. Fantastic! That baby looks ready to clean and pan fry in a big cast iron skillet.

Thank you gents! It has been a fun piece and matter of fact, I have mounted up blocks for a trio. A guy wants a brook a brown and a rainbow. This is gonna be a real task. Hopefully I'll get em posted here. Stay tuned. I have to still carve the backer for this!
