I can never get piano hinges on straight.

    The hinges set in recesses. The trick is to cut the recesses first and cut the hinge to fit. 

    And, USE STEEL SCREWS to give the brass ones a place to be.  Saves a bunch of cussing.

    Is the foam a special type? I have some Kazien foam I could use. That is a cool idea.
