Platter in wormy pecan. After putting rings on edges decided it needed something so I dyed the rings.

Absolutely stunning series, Gerald!  That spalted river birch is gorgeous!! Can't imagine how long it took to do the pierced Aspen!

Thanks Lew. Actually it di not take that long to do the piercing, but thin turning the aspen is difficult because it does not cut cleanly in my experience.

Initially, I thought I was looking at the top of a paint can.  That is so perfect that I was easily fooled.  Great job.
