Nice series, Dale! At first glance I thought you left the bark on the log.

Thank you. Believe it or not the bark had termites so I just slivered the bark off and did my own bark. Mold spores are a bear too. I just use some borax in a spray bottle to kill it. Then when dry apply your oils etc. You can also put the carving in a garbage bag and put a dish of bleach in with it. The fumes kill mold/ mildew
