Built this by cutting hemlock w my chainsaw then planing it. Burned it to match our decor. 2' cabinet light inside gives subtle living space lighting. Simple and cheap and nice. Enjoy!!!

Hi lew! No we had one of the flouresent in a pckg still so I figured why have it sit on a shelf downstairs? The wife was shocked when I slapped this together in no time. Now we don't have ugly lamps standing around. Nice easy fix plus with 8 dogs lamps don't do well here. Yea your seeing it right 8.

Well.... lol. Bennie is our mini pinscher.  He was given away because his owner didnt want him. Lucy is a rescued golden retriever from Ohio. She was left outside no water or food all the time. Beef is a golden lab in which a soldier was going to put him down because he would always go to neighboring homes to do his business. Yep you just saw that. Gunner and Stormie are two retrievers that are brother and sister that were tossed to the roadside as just weened pups that my wife found. They lived in a hollow log for god knows how long. Buddy is my red rock sable German shepherd.  I rescued him from a ww2 vet who had to go to a va home. I rescued his cat too. Then there's the big big guy Barney.  He is an Anatolian shepherd. He is eight months and over 100# .... he was rescued because owner took a job in Chicago and couldn't attend to him and his needs. He is predicting to be around 180-200# and stand over 7' at hind quarters. He's a bit big lol. And then shiba..... she was rescued from an owner who just plain payed no attention to her. She is a shiba inu. White eyes and just odd looking. Loveable too. I don't understand why ppl just get something and kinda throw it away. Ill never know these peoples mindset.

I'm sure glad we don't get stray dogs around here, I'd be in the same boat. I can't stand to see a homeless/unwanted dog. :)

My cat would hate me for bringing in a dog anyway LOL. Otherwise I would have at least 1
