Yea, the commute would be tough but I once flew from anchorage AK to Philadelphia PA to look at a saw. Down one day, one day there and one day back.

 I'd like to, but that is a three hour drive away.   I do have the old Rockwell tool factory sitting about three blocks to the north of me.  maybe set up a secondary site?    Then I can just walk to work....

ps: The old factory is sitting empty and unused.
