A little history on Laguna Tools: Quote: "Our founder, Torben Helshoj, had already won the prestigious Silver Medal for outstanding woodworking awarded by the Queen of Denmark before coming to America. Once he arrived Torben was quick to notice that American woodworking equipment wasn't up to par with European machinery in terms of safety, functionality and basic features found abroad.

Spotting an opportunity, Torben and his partners decided to import a European 5 function combination machine, which became the cornerstone for Laguna Tools. He produced an informative video and in no time, Laguna Tools was in business."

Laguna has proven their "Giving Back" philosophy within our own woodworking community at The Patriot Woodworker when they shipped off a shop full of machinery to our own Marine, Lt. Timothy Fallon. Laguna gave to our Marine in a big way, and without much fanfare. You see, Laguna Tools gives back, without expecting anything in return, as they did with our own Marine. They do not expect anything in return because they truly believe in our men and women who put it all on the line while protecting our freedoms and keeping the bad guys off our shore. Laguna Tools is also a proud supporter of Wounded Warrior Project. Thank you Laguna! You are appreciated!

Our New Logo



Current Events: The Patriot Woodworker Woodworking Community has a new logo!!!!! What do you think! Share your opinions at our discussion link The Patriot Woodworker's New Logo. We love it, it sums up what we are all about I think. We want to thank John Chuechareun for his generosity and time while creating our new logo. John is the graphic artist for Laguna Tools and they donated their time to put together a logo for our organization. You will see this logo appear on our site, in our stationary, in our email signatures, on T-Shirts, and on other promotional media to help spread the word about our woodworking organization and our causes and operations with our disabled veterans we help. We will also be introducing another logo John made up for us at a later date, but for now, we introduce you to The Patriot Woodworker branded symbol, the revolutionary woodworker with crossed up Saw and Musket. Just think of Mel Gibson's movie, The Patriot!
And a big hearty thanks to Catherine Helshoj for lending us John for the art work, this was a volunteer effort by our friends at Laguna Tools.
