It is with our sincerest pleasure to welcome our own member Nate Meadows as our newest Site Host and Veterans' Liaison here on The Patriot Woodworker!

Nate came over a couple months ago when he heard about our project we spearheaded to get our Marine Lt. Timothy Fallon USMC a new woodworking shop. Please click on preceding link to see how we helped our Marine gain the tools and machinery he needed to get up and running.

When Nate heard our call, he came in and helped procure much of what our Marine has now in his shop, thus setting the stage for a great friendship between Nate and The Patriot Woodworker's.

After many phone calls to my friend Nate, and many emails, and many questions, we finally came to a conclusion that Nate needed to be amongst us in a more involved manner and Nate graciously accepted our invitation to come aboard in his new capacity.

Nate will be helping out around the site as general site host alongside Charles Nicholls who is our first site host who has been with us for a loooong time! I am sure Charles will appreciate the help.

In addition to general site hosting duties, we are turning over the Veterans Corner and Our Causes Forum to Nate Meadows where he will keep us up to date with the latest news from Homes For Our Troops, The Wounded Warriors and soon The Fisher House Organization.

Also Nate will be instrumental in our future fundraisers to procure monies for these great organizations and he will be helping with the organization of our future woodworking contests to raise funds for our causes. Nate's position is an evolving responsibility to be adjusted as Nate and us work through his new duties.

As well, Nate is our Veterans Liaison, meaning he is taking on the responsibility of reaching out to our disabled veteran woodworkers to see if there is any way we can help their lives become a little better, and he will be communicating with our existing veteran members and our new veteran members as they join our site.

Also, if you all have not done so by now, surf on over to Nates Blog about his End Grain Floor being featured in Hardwood Floor Magazine!!! Way to go Nate!!!!

So again, please help us welcome Nate Meadows to The Patriot Woodworker in his new capacity as Site Host and Host for the Veterans Corner and Our Causes Forum.
