ning-imag0002-6402-33.jpg?width=721new arrival in the Dungeon Shop.   A Kobalt #4, sitting beside the WR #4 V3.    ning-imag0009-6402-83.jpg?width=721and a small silver box.    to replace the H-F one that was burned up in an apartment fire....

A new, better cameraski to learn.    An spent a little bit of cash of a used, but still quite good tire.   To replace a rear tire that waddled going down the street.   Had "seperation" going on, all the belts had slid to one side of the tire.     "New itre"  went up front, not so new went to the rear, to replace the bad tire.

Still working on the blade for the Kobalt #4 iron works.     Back needed a flattening, edge was a coarse factory grind, Chipbreaker needed tuned, lever cap needed a polishing under the front lip.    handles were loose, but, a few turns with the screwdriver took care of that.

ps:  it was the last one in the store ( Lowes) and was around $30.    About the same as i pay on fee-bay for one this size.

Planer? I'm the 'planer', and these are what I use...

It a small hole drilled in the face of the trigger. I don't know what it's for and is not addressed in the manual. If I find out what it's for I'll post to this thread.

OK, I found out what the hole is. It's access to a small screw for adjusting the trigger pull. I was told unless you know what you're doing leave it alone.

I looked on Colt's web page and could not find a reason for it. In the long run it does not matter as long as you enjoy the gun! It looks like a really nice gun. I like the 1911 style, I have a Remington.

Wonderful gifts guys!!!!!!! I hope you all are enjoying it!

Here is my lineup, and it was one of the most meaningful gift exchanges ever.

From my 9 year old son, a wallet! Of course! What else would a son give his dad!

My youngest girl crocheted a bookmark, I had asked her to make me one months ago, and she did, and saved it for Christmas! I had forgotten all about it! I turned into jello when her little hands gave it to me. All you fathers out there know what I am talking about.

My oldest girl gave me a wonderful biography about a gent who returned to his Appalachian hometown. She knows I love the Appalachian history and the music and the land, so I have this wonderful new book, with a wonderful bookmark.

I will treasure the gifts forever. The wallet, well, I get two each year from my son, one for my birthday, and one for Christmas, and I rotate them so he sees me using them all! So now I can add this one to the rotation as well. Haha!

Thanks for sharing your special morning with us guys,
