April 4, 201412 yr It looks like it was fun, are you also doing the laser work? If so what did you use? Thanks for putting it up here Mike!
April 4, 201412 yr That is one real nice piece of work, Mike. I'll bet the parents love it and little Violet's going to cherish it, too.
April 5, 201412 yr Author Thanks for the comments guys. This was a fun little project. To John-- I sub the laser engraving out to Custom Engraving and Signs here in Richmond. The man does a great job and is very reasonable in price.
April 5, 201412 yr Forgive my ignorance Mike, when you laser onto wood, does it burn in image or text on the wood, or is more of a flush print surface?
April 5, 201412 yr Author John-The laser actually burns the image into the wood( approx 1/64th" deep) with incredible accuracy.
April 5, 201412 yr That's awesome Mike, gives it a sense of quality too with the depth burned in like that, that is really cool.
