lew Posted July 26, 2014 Report Posted July 26, 2014 Some of these associations are way too powerful and dictator like. Quote
Chris Posted July 26, 2014 Report Posted July 26, 2014 While I have heard of decent associations, I would never take the risk. Too many are headed by folks who are more concerned about making themselves important than making a good neighborhood. Quote
John Moody Posted July 26, 2014 Report Posted July 26, 2014 Well I guess those "noxious" fumes could have been cedar and they just don't know what it is Quote
Ron Dudelston Posted July 26, 2014 Report Posted July 26, 2014 Well, it is California Rich. Here's a thought. He should continue until he is fined. I bet he'd get more donations to pay the fines than he'd need. My money is on him winning this. Quote
Cliff Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 The homeowners association may not have a case if he fights it. At law, prolonged pattern of conduct between parties supersedes the terms of a written agreement. So if you know this guy, you might let him know he has a very strong case if he chooses.
