A friend of mine passed a couple years ago. His wife gave me his carving tools that I hardly use. I have been woodworking for over 50 years but carving is not my thing. Mike, what a wonderful gift to you, and a wonderful gesture from you! Someone has a nice set of artisan made tools. I love that antler on the one tool. I had a set like yours, chip carving and detail tools that were passed on to me, and chip carving is something I want to delve into, those are going to make some wonderful users for someone.
