I have been buying shovel handle blanks and cutting them down to make handles. Finally going to get rid of them and make new ones. Here are three glue ups that are waiting for the adapters to finish. I have two more in clamps drying.

Those are going to "purdy", Rusty! Sometimes my rolling pin blank will have a defect. Save them for handles.

Nice Rusty. Adding a little class never hurts.

Good looking glueups. Now to decide on some special turnings to show them off. Definitely some burn rings and maybe a couple beads at the end.

Great idea about using the shovel handles, it's been a good day! Always a good day when I learn something new.

Nothing fancy but a lot better than the old ones.
