An incredible family heirloom, gets restored.

Finished up the materials for my turning club demo. Now to get to some of those dried rough turned blanks.

Beauregard wants to look for his dog's mom Mother's Day gift this week. I guess I'll have to spot him the funds as he spent all of his allowance at the shore.

Slow start as thought my back was going to put me down for the count today. Ice pack put me back in the game by afternoon. Started on a medicine cabinet for my son. Stopped a bit early to get a little weed eating work done. More of the same scheduled tomorrow.

Over the weekend I finished the color coat on the first stage of my re-stuccoing project, and put some perforated drain pipe in these trenches. Made a start on filling them back in but then Monday came along!

Once filled in I'll get to work on construction of a wood porch from the concrete slab to the left that will go over to a porch on the far right. That will form the base for staging some scaffolding to address problems up where the roof meets the wall. Following that, I'll restucco the rest of the wall.

Stucco work is actually kind of fun. A good work out too, which at my age (turned 56 today) I need.

Not much work going to happen this week, I'm doing Continuing Education classes for renewing my EMR license. It may be the last time I renew, I don't know.

Don't know what happen to the link for my post above. Anyways I'm getting ready to build a table for our den. At the moment I'm reading my shop for making the Legs first.
