Curtain rod bracket

I know it's not "real" woodworking, but here are some fancy curtain rod brackets I made for my living room, I was tired of the cheap metal ones that seem to fail within days of getting installed. When the weather improves I'll take them down and use BLO followed by shellac to finish them.

Actually @Wichman3 those look pretty good! 👍

Very, very nice Wich. Really cool design; envy of any Victorian era design.

Not real woodworking?? Looks beautiful, ornate, and not easily done!

I am truly amazed at the level of detail you are able to achieve right off the saw, as to not being real woodworking YOU gotta be kidding me🤣

Back in the day there was lot's of talk on the boards ( Wood magazine being one ) that scroll sawing wasn't "real" woodworking. So when I see posts complaining about the lack of woodworking on this site, I make assumptions (and yes I know the old saw about assumptions).
