I parked it next to my front door, next to where the steps down to the basement are. To get a sense if it belonged there. Came up from my basement shop 1/2 hour later and was momentarily startled thinking someone was standing there. Decided that wasn't the best place for it.

Last detail. Short pegs, roughly half way up on the column, to hang my umbrella from. I've got another larger umbrella somewhere to hang on the other peg.
