I'm no major pen turner but I do visit turning parts on the lathe once in a while.

I did these a couple years ago and stored them in my dresser. Then forgot about them.

The trouble with pen turning is that they turn out so nice and then you don't want to use them or make them and give away.

It's fun to make and addictive for sure!

    I really enjoyed making them and can see how addictive it is being on the lathe making them. When I worked at Lee Valley I knew a lady who would spend her paycheck buying pen supplies. Numerous times.

    Pens are a nice give away. I know I gave hundreds. I made a bunch of .306 bullet casings into pent using Zebra pens and machining them to fit. Did some in wood too.
