Delta Tablesaw Overhaul Questions

I also want to ask if I should keep the old Rockwell saw for anything? It's a Model 10 contractor saw. Is there any need for parts from these saws? I'm debating whether it would be worth the time to advertise the parts for sale or should I just keep what I can use and take the rest to the scrap yard?

Great question(s). I guess it depends on your storage space. I tend to be a hoarder thus one reason I'm out of what limited space I have. I always seem to have great ideas/plans for how to use or repurpose in future projects but those seem to be superseded by other projects, tasks or acquisitions.

The saw stand would definitely be a keep for me to repurpose for a tool of some sort. YMMV.

Glad you've finally settled in after the long move and some shop time is on the horizon. I hope everyone has adjusted to the new climate and surroundings. Great to have you back regularly.

@Grandpadave52 - Thank you! It's nice to have a community here. I was thinking of keeping the stand as well. It's the table top and internal parts that I know I don't need and don't have the space for. I may put out a generic ad in a few places and see if I get any response. I did that for the rare radial arm saw I had and actually made more than I paid for it. I sent parts all over the country. However, common Rockwell table saw parts are probably not hard to come by.

That's a well known saw, and I'd bet some guys over at Vintage Machinery would be looking for some of those parts...problem is, I don't know which ones to keep.
