Looks like ShopSmith is getting back on its feet. This was posted today:

We want to share a quick update regarding our online store and express our sincere thanks for your patience as we navigate the relaunch of ShopSmith.

We’ve successfully resolved a major technical hurdle with our website integration. You will now see actual UPS shipping rates calculated at checkout, rather than the higher estimated flat rates we were forced to use temporarily. Most importantly, this fix allows us to remove the $30.00 minimum cart requirement, making it easier for you to grab exactly what you need, when you need it.

We know the shipping costs have been a pain point, and we truly appreciate your understanding while we worked through this. We are still hard at work finalizing our USPS integration, which will bring even more relief for smaller, lighter packages in the very near future.

Drove past the factory yesterday. Sign at the front of the building is still bare.

Speaking of Shopsmith, I got a email saying the new owner was going to take questions from social media. Since I really don’t have any social media accounts, I apparently missed it. Did anyone see this or is there a posting of the Q and A?

My question would have been if they have any plans to put an Estop on the power pro head stock? Trying to stop the motor with that little stop button on the LED screen is difficult at best, add in trying to hold a piece of wood it’s almost impossible.
