August 10, 2025Aug 10 Popular Post Why was I not informed this existed? AGAIN, something I have not seen.. It's a UNIDRILL and I do not know how I've gotten by without one.. I can't believe I have survived this long without one.. I will not afford this one but I now have another goal.. How cool is the Delta UNIDRILL???? My life will not be complete until I have one..
August 11, 2025Aug 11 I've never seen one. There is at least one (of the thousand or so) with pictures over at Vintage Machinery.

Looks like there is a crank to rotate it and that extra plate(?) in the middle might be a gear reduction (if that is the proper term) to fine tune it.. The price on the one I posted is $650 which isn't bad for a machine shop quality drill press.. I have a project in the works that will require a bunch of holes at a precise angle but I have a strick rule that I will not pay more for a machine than the vales of the copper in the cord.. Of course that rule isn't in writing and they are my rules and I get to make them up as I choose.. I think I'll offer him $50 bucks....

That model number comes up maybe 10 times, And there are pix of 10 different machines, most of which are just regular ol' drill presses, many with good pix of the number tags. I did find pix of one more at that sight. Dude said he got at an auction, disassembled there and left the base behind. I'm scratching my head on that one, A matching base is often worth as much or even more than the machine...

Wouldn't surprise me though if @Larry Buskirkdidn't have a couple pigeon holed in his or Bruce's stash.😜

Was originally a Walker-Turner designed machine IIRC.
