I'm happy to report that the Universe is still working as it always had. I ordered a new veneer saw and used it to get my veneering done. This morning I found my old veneer saw. Honestly, one of the last thing you'll even need 2 of is a veneer saw. At least the planets are all still aligned and things haven't been altered by some celestial event. lew, Gerald and Grandpadave52 3 Quote
frenchwwr Posted June 7 Report Posted June 7 (edited) I'm coming out of"Infrastructure Week". I rough planed about 400 palletwood boards last week so it was time to change the blades, and I acquired a heavy-duty drill press that needed a stand. I decided it was time to do a little shop maintenance. I replaced 2 cord ends. replaced the cord to my miter saw repaired 2 ROS that were out of balance Assemble the stand and build an extension for the drill press table, allowing me to drill 1 13/16 holes in an Oak barrel stave for Votive Candles, and I'm still working on making centerline jigs that process. And still had time to punch out 40 Tic-Tac-Toe boards using some of Eileen's tunbled River Glass as the playing pieces. Today was my Double Share Local of CSA Beer pickup! Wooden Boxes for Beer it doesn't get any better than that. Now, it's off to the basement shop to finish the centerline jigs Edited June 7 by frenchwwr lew, Gerald, Harry Brink and 1 other 4 Quote
