April 14, 20251 yr Popular Post Busy weekend; soccer match, won 5-0; several errands; youngest grandson 11th birthday party cookout; both granddaughters home; breakfast at church followed by Palm Sunday services. No donuts were harmed in the making of the Weekend. Mail out Uncle Sam's subscription dues. Hopefully gather sticks (no stones, kidney or other), get the mower checked over and maybe test the waters, 'er grass; Hoping the chipper/ shredder will start for an extended workout; Spring will be here soon. Several baseball games and soccer matches on the schedule weather permitting. Rumor has it, people are beginning to find mushrooms so donuts can't be far behind. April 14, 20251 yr Popular Post Worked on finishing several small projects in shop. Doing another day on that today. Sunday church and Palm Sunday services. Hope to get more done on the picnic table this week but have to ripmout some more of the cedar logs at the ranch. Seems there is no end and with the building going to get worse.

April 15, 20251 yr Popular Post Haven't had a cup of coffee since the morning of September 14, 2024. Of course I ended up in the ER that night and the hospital for 6 days which included surgery and a bonus stroke. Coincidence, I think not Moral of this story: Make sure at least one of the IV bags contains coffee.
April 15, 20251 yr Popular Post Or...a Mountain Dew Zero? More tools found for those Swan Tool Cabinets.. A better match for the Square they were selling..My version of the 8" Dividers...that is either a #4 or #5 Tool... As for that Cabinet Scraper they were selling? I tend to prefer a Stanley No. 80....easier to sharper, and doesn't burn my thumbs in use.. Have a nice little stash of Leftovers of Ash...that I can resaw down to make a box or two...trying to decide between 1/2" thick, or 3/8" thickness... Stay tuned...
