Looks really great, Rusty!

 

Just a thought, I wonder if the locking knob(s) will be sufficient to hold the angled position with the weight of the lathe and vibration.

Rusty I had the same thought as Lew. I have made lamp holders and the hard part is to get it to hold an angle, and here we are looking a lathe weighing in excess of 100 pounds. Not sire what that black handle is on the end but if it is a pin going into a hole that might work. Personally I would use a carriage bolt with a large wingnut to hold angle. Good Luck.

 

Something else you might want to look at is adjustable height.
