The joinery in this roofing system fascinated me, at first it didn't make sense but as I kept watching it all came together, a really neat video I thought. Have fun!

Kicking back and relaxing after pigging out on onion dip/chips and watching an exciting Puppy Bowl yesterday. Prepping for a stress test tomorrow....no coffee, soda, or chocolate for the next 24 hours.

I can take or leave the soda, but going without the coffee and chocolate would "Boing" a stress test.

Best of luck, Fred.  I just had one last week after some mysterious but insignificant chest pains.  Mine included an injection of a dye along with a scan before and after the treadmill. I was sucking wind when they said "one more minute?" 

No coffee? How unreasonable!  They told me nothing after midnight prior.

Monday?   Monday??

Busy weekend but no major accomplishments. New tires and battery in my car. Lots of other errands and a hair cut. Still have bird seed bags to unload. Today, domestic duties. Remainder of the week donut know yet.

Played with the wave bowl. Early Valentines day outing tonite at our adopted son's restaurant. Monday is Prime Rib night- Mimi's favorite

I hadn't realized JWD this is a part of a series. I look forward to watching the others as well for this same Chateau.

Spent the day at the Ranch. Cut up the last of the logs into large blanks. Hauled it up to burn pit so it can be prepped for final cuts. Also filled several holes in the lower field. Kinda took it out of me but much closer to being ready to build shop.

This is the log pile minus the bark , mostly.

 

 

Last night wife says she wants a round revolving bookcase. So I get started glueing up the blanks for shelves. Hey after all they wanted over 700 for this. Fortunately I have a pretty good stash of white oak.
