Where do you think is the best place where I can get a decent (by decent, I meant cheap and high quality) reciprocating blade. Not quiet sure which brand is the most reliable.

Good luck with your search.  It's very rare that cheap and high quality come in the same package.

I redid our bathroom several years ago and discovered the toilet flange had rusted out (1953 house all cast iron/oakum and lead). Used these to cut off the cast iron.

 

 

Took a while but it worked

 I'll agree with Lew, the Lenox seem to hold an edge longer. 

Lenox is the go-to brand for me when the work gets tough.

What type of work are you specifically planning to do? Rough carpentry, demolition, metal; ferrous / non-ferrous, plastic or???

 

Agree with the Lenox statements. I've also had excellent results with Dewalt as well as Diablo Demolition blades.
