March 3, 20251 yr Author I got lucky and east able to get 1000 compression springs on Ebay for around $10.
March 4, 20251 yr I picked up some aluminum bar from onlinemetals.com before you started this thread - just based on the pictures I saw in another post. I don't need the smashing power of Wetzlers all the time. Do you have any trouble with the steel spring pins denting the aluminum bar? Assuming there are spring pins in the sliding jaw as well as the upper fixed jaw of course.
