Irish Peace Rose

Got a special order from a gift shop owner (he's Irish) in Chicago.  Never heard of this, but is the Peace Rose an Irish or Chicago thing?

Pretty neat piece you got there, specially the coloring. I did a little searching around as I am sure you did too and could find nothing on that quote or saying, hmmm. Maybe an ol family jingle started by great grandpa?

 Nice work John. Never heard of the peace rose, may be a regional thing, kind of like a "devil's strip".

John -  can't compete with my Polish Eagles.  Although the Irish orders have picked up recently.  The jingle is mine, but the Peace Rose was from the customer.
