You can get a new Festool cordless drill for a little less than $1000 Well… do i go ahead and buy that tool at $999.99 or foolishly waste my money on frivolous items like a gallon of milk and a dozen eggs? I can’t afford both.
October 28, 20241 yr Popular Post The Festool that gets me is their new table saw. It's cordless, that is good for a contractor, but very small. So small it's only appropriate for someone doing very small things. Sliding table and digital angle gauge is really nice, but I can't see using it for door and cabinetry trim. It's only $2,000

October 29, 20241 yr I'd invest in some Festool battery powered tools if the batteries and blades came with a lifetime warranty. Way back in the old days when Sears sold Craftman tools and whatever Craftman tool you bought they had a lifetime warranty. They were the only brand of tools the shop teacher bought for the class shop space, and I particularly remember having a router switch break. The teacher took it and showed up the next day with a brand new one. 4D
