Popular Post lew Posted September 23, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted September 23, 2024 Spalted sycamore bowl blank coming out of the soak today and headed for the drying box. Smaller cherry bowl blank in the soak. If all works out, it will become a John Beaver Wave Bowl. Gerald, steven newman, Fred W. Hargis Jr and 3 others 6 Quote

Popular Post DuckSoup Posted September 23, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted September 23, 2024 Had a CT scan on Wednesday & visited the Dr. on Friday, scar tissue that was a tumor is still scar tissue. I see the Dr. in three months & a CT in 6 months. Life is good! Bought paint to paint the garage and this caused it to rain for the time in a month. Way to go Murphy. Fred W. Popular Post Grandpadave52 Posted September 24, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted September 24, 2024 (edited) What did I get done over the weekend? Well, getting paroled from a week's stay in the hospital was the big thing; spent all day Sunday resting from being in the hospital 'cause you sure don't get to rest there. Today, lots of phone time setting up future appointments, learning a new app to work daily with my "care team." Doctors appointment tomorrow. Remainder of the week learning how to self-manage some temporarily installed "equipment." Got plenty of free time to get caught up here. But, life is good, God is good, Happy to be here literally as well as physically. If you're interested.... Popular Post Gerald Posted September 24, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted September 24, 2024 Had a good weekend with Magnolia Woodturners meeting and a event at AG Museum. The event was a bit ok VERY flat as they did not advertise properly. Turns out 4 people in that office quit in 2 weeks. Ole Miss won another one !! Hotty Toddy!! Had a good day at church and relaxing afternoon. Today some errands this morning and a bit of tractor shopping this afternoon. Looking at a Bad Dog and payments for several years, but that front loader will save me lots of back ache at the Ranch. Still got a second turn done on a Laurel Oak bowl this afternoon. Tomorrow shop time again cut short as wife has a MD appt, Wednesday I have an injection scheduled and Friday my MD appt . I am tired just thinking bout this. lew, Larry Buskirk, DuckSoup and 4 others 7 Quote
