Popular Post Grandpadave52 Posted September 9, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted September 9, 2024 Busy going weekend. Not home much for extended durations. 8th grade football game tonight; church meetings 2 other evenings; online auction pick-up another evening, no tools really just a newer 50" mower deck and a 54" hydraulic lift front blade for my garden tractor. Both need some work but I could easily double my money w/o doing anything to them. Good news, PU is less than 3 miles away. Now I have to get the tractor going again. Yard is already starting to look shaggy. It's been two weeks since I've had a donut. Gerald, Gunny, lew and 5 others 7 1 Quote
Popular Post JWD Posted September 9, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted September 9, 2024 I got the plant table to it's first dry fit. It's like a long narrow coffee table to go under a window. I have that bottom stretcher laying on top of the short rails so I can mark it. Also got the slats all made up so going to dry fit those after I sand and oil the parts. I had some leftovers to use up - not quite enough of course so I had to buy a bit more to use up the leftovers. I have a bunch of African mahogany leftovers that will be 3/4" square slats instead of a solid top. The girlfriend has a lot of house plants in pots, and a really crummy and wobbly stand to hold the ones that aren't on a windowsill. If this is a successful offering, I may make a taller one that goes in the corner next to this one, that would be for the plants that send out runners so those can droop down it. We'll see though, her aesthetic and mine don't quite align. Story of my life Larry Buskirk, Grandpadave52, lew and 2 others 3 2 Quote
