Marie has improved enough following here surgery a month ago that i hope to resume my daily trips to the Y, I'll still have to adjust my schedule a little but it will feel good getting some exercise again. Otherwise it's a little hot to do anything outside, so I'll be spending more time piddling in the shop and still practicing  being a turner.

Same old, same old....and I get into trouble when the temps get above 80 degrees....this week they will be into the 90s!

Monday. leave it at that....

Taking a break from helping Bruce put upper/lower control arms on the 05 Express.

One side is done, waiting for it to cool off some before we do the other side.

Might wait until tomorrow morning to do the other side.

no real work this weekend, later this week will finish cutting out ports and painting 2 VTAC panels for the pistol range.  then turn my attention to making a dump box for our 2 gun matches (already have made 4, this will make #5).

Went down to the Ranch this morning to add some dirt to back of the berm (shooting) and noticed that where my grandson emptied a magazine into target there was some damage I had to fill in. Sold some ammo at lunch and have been doing nothing since.

Tomorrow plan to starting to clean out one side of DIL's fathers attic till it gets too hot . Hopefully not too bad but there are HVAC pipes to negotiate.

Today's Pallet Wood Project

I found this wagon on the side of the road a while ago and decided today was a good day for a build-out.
I still need to get some 'Green Slime' in the tires.

Tardy reporting again. Dock my pay, but I still want the donuts. Saturday after men's breakfast decided to tackle the long neglected blackberry and asparagus patch. Hand pulled/ dug weeds and grass, removed some wild growth mulberry growth. It was hot, but productive.

Yesterday started the task of disassembling the grandkids old wooden playset. It was a used set installed a few years back when they all lived here. Lots of screws, bolts. Hope to finish it up today. Most of the wood will go to the burn pile.

Haircut trip tomorrow, lunch with my brother, trips to Menards for "honey-do" project items, Rural King, maybe to Harbor-Freight, and probably a stop somewhere for a donut and iced coffee to go.;)

Daily trips for the next week to daughter/SILs to check on the house and cats. They're currently in Atlanta waiting on their flight to the Bahamas.

Remainder of the week TBD by the Mrs. and what she discovers on Pinterest or other sites.

Pocket knife & a small hole in the HVAC pipe might bring a little relief to the attic. A little duct tape before you leave.

Bills paid..gas tank is full on the car...messed up both knees getting into the car last night....everything from the knees up made the turns needed...everything from the knees down..did not...

IF the AC unit upstairs and the one in my dinning room both "Kick in" at the same time...it pops the circuit breaker..

Mid 90s for the highs this week...Friday it is supposed to hit 99 degrees...too bleeding hot for me...

If you can switch one to a different plug it might solve your problem. If not, shut everything else off & stay in the coolest room closest to the beer.

Got the other side done on Bruce's Express. Goes in for an alignment at 3:00.

Just got out of the tub, don't feel like I'd stick to the wall if I got to close anymore.
