I am looking for the little final that goes on top of the key chain. I have used up all the kits that I once found on clearance on the web. I make rifle casing key chain using the rifle casing and a real bullet in the bottom. I need to make several for a craft she coming up next month. I hate to  uh the whole kit just for one piece. I have everything else needed. So any suggestions as to where I can get them?

Man Keith, you sure come up with some good ones :)

Is there an image on the web for what you are looking for? I have all kinds of stuff in my odds n ends bucket, if I knew what I was looking for I could have a look see.

@keith long... like John said, any chance you can post a picture or web link to exactly what you're wanting?

One thought though might be a craft store like Michaels, Hobby Lobby or similar. Just a guess without seeing what you're describing.

I don't have an image  UT if you look at a key chain kit from a supplier, it has a top piece that presses into the top of a turned key chain that the key ring goes into. I bought several keychain kits that were a clearance item and just used the piece that I am talking about. I have looked at hobby lobby and Michael's to no avIl. Even tried Amazon with no luck. I can my the whole kit, I just hate to for the one piece.

Is THIS the type of piece you're looking for Keith?

I think he may be talking about the part that holds the key. If that is the case look on Amazon, Aliexpress or Temu for groups of keyrings and remove that part.

Keith, have you considered turning a wood plug and using a small screw eye set into it? a drop of super glue will keep them together

How about a picture of the one you were using?

I'm just trying to understand which part Keith is talking about, is it the long brass or the end caps?

I think it's the end caps but so far I haven't been able to track down a separate source.

It is the end cap that holds the key ring. Thanks lew, I will check them out.
