If you turn duck calls, what are some good woods to use for the barrels?

Hey Keith, @Charles Nicholls who made duck calls for awhile, had a few topics on the subject, if you do a search for Duck Calls you'll pull up a few discussions regarding the topic, reading through some of Charles' topics on the subject, looks like he settled on Cocobolo. Here is one topic by Charles.

 

I would choose a dense wood since there will be moisture involved.  Spittle, humid breath and etc.
