"Thank you for the review kreisdorph. Who would of thought there'd be a database book for wood!"

Most of you are probably aware of the Wood Database. It's a great resource for identifying wood. I knew they also had a book, but I wasn't inspired to buy it until recently. It's a large book, roughly 8.5 x 11. I use the Wood DB site regularly. This book is great when you just want to sit in front of the fire and browse. $35 on Amazon. (Does anyone remember that Amazon started as a bookseller and lost millions each year for the first five years?)

Thanks Kent for the recommendation.

Thank you! I was aware of the online version but like you, I do love a book, and I do have a fireplace! Great suggestion.

You know, I completely forgot that Amazon was indeed a book seller first!
