Sounds to me like it was a directive from your wife, so what can you do? Smart man Kevin.

If my saw that she would point me 15 miles in the opposite direction 

This is part of yesterday's haul

 

The disks are numbered from 5 (smallest) to 16, the #5 disk is around 1 1/2" and the #16 3 3/8".

The top 3 are numbered 1, 2, & 3, #3 being the largest.

 

Any idea what they go to?

Complete guess but they remind me of types of seal and bearing drivers sans the mandrel (handle). Appears the center hole is the same diameter in all pieces. The numbering has me baffled a bit as does the impression pattern. Does the smaller ones have another hole off center or is it just a deeper impression like the larger ones?

I think Dave has it No. 4 probably has the handle.

Typically you use two of the discs on the mandrel. Larger one to match OD; smaller one to match ID of either a bearing, race or lip type seal. Your set may have been for more specific applications vs a universal set like THIS.
