January 9, 20242 yr Popular Post New character tops . Decided to upgrade my tops and offer a big step up. Inspired by Linda Farber article in American Woodturner. In order to spin the design has to be compact. Metallic Ink colors top it all off. More work and will be a higher price point.
January 9, 20242 yr Wonderful. I'm surprised you sell so many. Is is grandpa buying for the grandchildren?

It is mostly mom or grandma buying for the kids with them. Last year sold 190 , 2022=187. Several of us do tops and we raised our price by $1 in November, But these will be about 3 times the original design.
January 10, 20242 yr Awesome. Love the colors. I'll bet really cool looking when they're spinning. Impressive sales numbers too. Great to hear somebody still appreciates and hopefully uses something that doesn't have to be tethered to a USB cable overnight. Good conversation piece too just sitting out on a table. Maybe they're hanging them as ornaments? Regardless, they're buying them so well worth your time.

"Take one for a spin" Ironic you both mention this. I just saw THIS tonight. Notice what the Youth Activity is at the Indy Woodworking Show. Pretty cool. I'm fence straddling if I should attend this year.
