You're right there!

 

I enlisted when I was 17 in 1963. Navy had a program that if you went in before you were 18 you got at on your 21st birthday. Figured the Navy was safer that the Army at that time.

 

I get my hearing aids from the VA, too. Pretty close for me- 39 miles each way. They never mentioned the dryer. I should ask. I made my own from a computer fan and some scraps. No desiccant but plenty of air movement.
