Wow and wow Tom! I love this! Very nice sir!

Perfection on the board itself, the drawers, are they completely flocked? All surfaces? Did you turn the chess pieces too?

Thank you John.  Only the interior surfaces of the drawers are flocked.  The tops of the dividers and the sides are painted with the adhesive paint used in the flocking process.  And yes, I turned all the chessmen.

I played a little bit in junior high and high school, but not since then.  My grandson and I played a couple of games, and he won both games quickly.  I don't know who he is playing with now, but it's not me.  We haven't talked in a while, but I will ask him if he is using the set the next time I talk to him.  My guess he is the kicker and not the kickee of the butt.
