I think it is too much sugar for a dime. Another gadget which might have been of use in a production shop.

I suspect that table saw fence was inspired by the router table fence that Next Wave Automation makes and sells. 

The fence on my Bailey table saw came with a digital readout.  Although it won't move on its own, it is extremely accurate once zeroed out against the blade. 

I'm a sucker for "smart" automation, but in 45+ years playing/working with shop tools I've never felt I needed the tools to do more of the setup work for me.   Winter cold in my unheated garage shop likes to kill the batteries in all the digital readouts.  So much a bother that I just don't mess with them any more.
