I just completed a solid cherry entertainment center for my neighbor.  I sanded to 400 and applied 4 coats of General Finishes Armor Seal semi.  An absolutely foolproof product.2812AD49-6D89-4C73-BB4B-C164EF76D165.jpeg

A beautiful piece of work, Ron.

Beautiful work Ron! Can you please explain why it's fool proof? Thanks!

It will be even greater when that cherry darkens with age.

Arm R Seal is designed to be a wipe on finish.  I use bowls from Aldi’s and pour about 3 or 4 ounces in the bowl.  I use a clean, new cotton rag folded into a square and apply the finish overlapping just slightly.  The first coat will dry in a few hours.  Lightly knick the dust nibs off with 220 sandpaper, wipe the dust and apply the next coat.  Keep it up until you have the finish you want.  Easy Peasy.

Absolutely beautiful.  Thanks.

I'll never go back to spray on finishes Ron, too much mess and fuss, I love wipe ons.

An absolutely foolproof product.

And quite obviously, a foolproof woodworker as well.
