Nope. Not a Stephan King book review. 

Here's the stand in use. Built with a 15° front down tilt as that seems to be the best angle for comfort. Also, the height of the chair arms dictated the height of the stand.

Got some padding trimming to do but, it's useable as is.

I really like the idea of the slanted mount. I imagine it greatly improves visibility of the pattern and probably aids in getting rid of surface sawdust.

If you get into some fine detail work you might look into a magnifying clamp on light:

I have a light very much like that on my RAS, it really works well for that use. Nice stand.....the slant will be a good thing.

For magnification I use a head worn, lighted unit with changeable flip up lenses. I like the idea of the slanted table.

I also have a similar light @Gene Howe. I use it on my bandsaw mostly. Plenty of light and the flex cable lets you direct it where you need it. Since it is portable you can attach the magnet on any tool you want.
