My shop

Nothing to report on happenings in my shop this week, sorry for the late Monday topic, I have not been feeling well and I took today off from work, and forgot it was Monday!

Ended up in ER yesterday for the second time in a month with gallbladder issues, first time was a gallbladder flare up, this time it appears I'm passing a stone through the ducts and the pain was excruciating yesterday, it hit me like a ton of bricks I thought I was having a heart attack, but the pain was all on the right side chest and upper right side back, I could barely walk or breathe!

But I got home last night, slept well, the pain is finally subsiding, and I should be back at work tomorrow, got a surgery date for April 4 to get this sucker ripped out of my chest, thank GOD!

So, how ya'll been!!!!

Hope it goes well for you. I had a gangreenous GB removed about 6 years back. Boy that was a pain. Surgeon said a 30 minute surgery turned into 2 and a half. Instead of the usual 4 holes I had 6. They put a drain in and when he pulled it I thought I was going thru the roof.

Finally today got all the parts cut for drawers in wife's side table , pics later in the original posts.

Prayers for successful treatment, surgery and quick recovery and relief to you John. Never had gall stones, but if anything like kidney stones, IT AIN'T FUN and it HURTS!

Take care.

Busy day. Mrs. was home today since she worked the weekend. Started by attending a funeral for younger sister of one of our closest and oldest friends. Kathy fought a brave and gallant battle with cancer the past 8 years. She was only 61.

After, a few errands, caught up the laundry, then picked up pizza's and celebrated youngest granddaughters birthday a few weeks late. She turned 20 on Feb. 6, but was across state completing classes ahead of leaving next day to travel downstate with swim team for conference swim tourney remainder of that week. No more teenage granddaughters.:(

Tuesday, big day; travel to Boilertown for haircut. After that 15 minute interruption, have an appointment at a bank there to complete paperwork for step-father's estate. A few errands after. Wednesday several things to complete in preparation for a meeting at church that evening. Also need to reserve a U-haul truck for end of the month. Daughter and SIL close on their new to them house on the 30th. Have to be out of their rented property on April 1. Going to be a busy end of the month.

Rain in forecast 6 of next 7 days so outside work is unlikely. Probably have a semi load of sticks and limbs to clean up. Maybe I can get some garage time in???

Helping Bruce get vans ready for "Spring Curb Shopping Season" around the weather.

Need to do a "Boneyard" run today his 99 Astro needs an alternator, and mounting bracket.

Did one Sunday for things for the 00, & 05 Express's, and Astro but didn't know it needed an alternator.

Tried to start it after putting in a fuel pump yesterday, and found the alternator was froze solid.

It's been sitting for a few years, and I've never seen an alternator literally crumble.

Got six 245-75-16 LT load range E tires on rims for $30.00/each.

yesterday's and today's little project, some red sticks (shooting fault lines for USPSA matches).  one got busted, and we ran a little short, fine, make enough to build a maze for the rats!

made from 2x4s, ripped to 1-1/2" square.  2x4s are now $3.25 each.  better than 2 years ago.

Hope you're feeling better John. Those gall stones can be very painful. Prayers for you.
