Bucket garden stand - 2x6 configuration

Cool to see you're having success with your bucket garden David. I'm always amazed the big difference in growing seasons between the South and our location.

Looking foward seeing updates as you begin harvesting the fruits of your labor. Thanks for sharing.

It's been fun, Dave!  Looking forward to walking out back and getting some fresh veggies soon.

Just a little update with some veggies in the buckets; we've gotten zucchini and cucumbers so far.  Carrots, garlic, and onions will be ready soon.  Basil, peppermint, and tomatoes are looking good, too.  Potatoes in the bin are doing well but still have another month or so before they're ready.

Thanks, Guys!  Cool thing is that most of this is from seeds.  Onions, garlic, and potatoes are from store-bought organic from Walmart.  We just bought extra and I planted them.

You can do potatoes in a barrel just layer potato and soil. Don't remember the exact procedure but you end up with a barrel of potatoes

Something like this looks like a good idea.   Harvest from the bottom up.  I was thinking of using the red cedar dog eared fence pickets from HD for the sides.
