I was surprised to find in today's mail a hard copy of the Grizzly Industrial 2023 catalog. In recent years, one had to request a copy even if purchases had been made during the year. I purchased a few items during 2022.

 

As always a nice catalog. However it has significantly fewer pages than in previous years with many items formally offered missing. Perhaps some of those items remain available in their on-line catalog. I just haven't compared yet.

I got mine and did not order anything. When I get time to look it amazes me what they do carry

I'll have to see what comes in the mail this week.   Over the years the catalogs that used to fill my mailbox regularly have diminished down to an occasional trickle.  With most companies now having web sites  which you can order from or links to where you can buy their products I find it a sort-of good trend toward saving trees and lessoning what end up in land fills. 

When the pandemic hit and I had to teach on-line and stay at home I started filtering out piles of magazines and catalogs that were outdated.  Each week I'd put 20lbs or so of old paper in my trash cans to be hauled away.   After 20 weeks or so I thought I'd gotten rid of it all until I realized I had even more downstairs in plastic storage bins hauled from my last house. 

My goal is to de-paper this house completely before I move again.
