Just the latest batch for my upcoming show. Decided to use up some wood I had laying around and kept it simple.  I never seem to find the time to do the fancy stuff I have figured out in my head. :(

Comments and critiques appreciated, as always.

The last of my cedar stash. Got a couple of large planks a few years ago for helping a guy load some of them on his trailer.

.40 Cal isn't the only one that can play with pecan. A little bit different layout of some nicely spalted pecan that I picked up a while back. Gonna have to get some more of this stuff!

These were made from a block of end grain mesquite I glued up but never got around to turning into blanks. Didn't think it was cut into small enough pieces for what I wanted it to look like. Apparently, I was wrong.

Thanx for looking.

Of Coarse I would like the mesquite. Is the top ring double width?

They are all great.  Nice tight glue lines on everything too.

Outstanding Headhunter!  Did you make all of those in a day?

Very nice bowls. Looks like they were right up your alley.

Thanx guys.

Gerald -  Not exactly double width but wide enough to give me a nice rim design. I cheat a bit on those. I put a perpendicular edge on the blank and then run a router around both faces to give it a decorative edge, then cut the rings.

Forty - The actual cutting and regluing of the rings was done in one day but processing the initial blanks and then sanding/finishing the completed bowls takes some time. I worked on these off and on for over a week. Too much of that life stuff getting in the way!

Gene - I thought I was the designated smart *&@ around here. That's the kind of comment I would make. :P  And when are we going to see some output from your Ringmaster? Inquiring minds want to know.

The craft show is next Fri - Sat - Sun if anybody wants to drive over and drop in. :D

Leftovers is what I always seem to end up with.  Keep hoping to sell out of inventory completely but haven't made it yet. :(

What are those?  Kinda like leftover bacon. Something that doesn't really exist!

And this is how you go from Designated smart *** to self proven Dumb ***.

I remembered that one of you chronologically advanced individuals here had a Ringmaster but hadn't gotten around to using it much yet. And, of course, I 'remembered'

the wrong one.  I'm headed to the corner now. :(

Don't worry.  I spent so much of my childhood in the corner that it's the only place I'm comfortable.  :)

No problem. Although, at my state of chronical advancement related recall deficits, had me searching for that Ringmaster I must've misplaced.
