September 12, 20223 yr I picked up this jointer recently. I am looking for info on it. A manual specifically. The only numbers are on the infeed and outfeed. The attached is the infeed, side, outfeed is the same number. The person who I acquired it from passed recently at 102 years old. So with that, I'm assuming it's got some age to it. Any help would be appreciated.
September 12, 20223 yr Chris, if this is all the pieces you got of a jointer I would say there is too much missing to be worth anything especially something that big taking up room in your shop. I think having a complete machine would be the only way to go.
September 12, 20223 yr Welcome to The Patriot Woodworker Chris. Glad you found us. Hope to see and hear more about the recovery and restoration of this jointer as well as other works in your shop. Not any help identifying the new acquisition but perhaps @Larry Buskirk will chime in with thoughts. He's our resident old 'arn resource.
September 13, 20223 yr Author Grampadave, I had already stripped it down in the hopes of finding a data plate. It's all there, but I see my mistake, should of had it together for the pictures. From the post Lew sent, it looks like a 1944 delta. Going to do a closer inspection. Thanks for the input.
September 13, 20223 yr Welcome Chris, It doesn't look like a Delta to me, I would need a few more photos such as the fence, and other parts of the machine to make an ID.
