Selective deletion within 'Clear Notifications'

Featured Replies

John, sometimes Notifications stack up. I want to add comments and images to particular Notifications but it may take days / weeks / months to hunt down the right images.

Instead of 'Following' every thread I'd want to revisit, the Notifications pane seems like a better interface. Any chance a check-mark box can be added, like in Gmail? We'd still have the Clear Notifications button (which I've hit by mistake) but also a way to selectively clear notifications?

Best,

Jim

Holy Cow, Jim, I am so sorry I had not seen this till now. Please forgive me. This is something I have been wanting for some time now, a way to selectively clear notifications, not just all or nothing, let me see what I can find out for us, thanks for bringing this up Jim.

I do like being subscribed to threads I'm not always snapping into. The work-around to SCN - selective clearing / deletion - is to be more actively involved in the forum :cowboy:  But my time is divided! A new "Habitats of Vinegar-Lovers" forum has me transfixed!

Now that's a wonderful hobby, we love our olive oils in the Morris home, so I can definitely relate to your love of vinegar! :)

Check this out, I know it doesn't address the notifications issue, but you can actually build your own activity stream to check into, here is an explanation I gave Nick in another topic, see it at:
