Dab, what a beautiful story for how you got started, and obviously for a wonderful woman, thank you for sharing this with us and you are in my prayers today, praying that you are doing well, and you are staying sane through it all, take care sir.

many years ago, i attended a car related get together, 3 days long, and one of the guys volunteered to fix dinner each night in the parking lot with his tow behind BBQ rig.  just pay for the food and he's good.  much chatter ensued and the others decided to set up a "tip" jar.

 

i decided that Rob needed a nice cutting board, so i made him one as my "tip".  boy was that a big hit.  he still has it and uses it.

 

fast forward to this week, he texts me "you home?"  "yup" "good, got some munchies coming your way in 45 min"

 

he and another gal bought and had delivered to my house 3 bags of groceries and munchies for the coming days.  how sweet and unexpected.

 

you would not get that response from someone who just bought one of your cutting boards.
