June 18, 20224 yr Popular Post comment_292958 I know I haven't been around much lately. Family matters and a few shows have realaly kept me busy. Yes, Pop's Shop is still around and kicking. That being said, I just wanted to share with y'all my labor of love for my wife to celebrate our 58 years together. The project is called a Mandala Flower. 5 layers, over 1560 inside cuts, size is 14" x 14", didn't keep track of time (didn't want to on this tpe of project - it would probably scre the sh** out of me) Anyhow, here it is: Overall picture and a close up of part of it. June 19, 20224 yr Popular Post comment_292976 Great to see you, Fred. You've been missed. Congratulations on your 58th anniversary!!! Truly gorgeous piece(s). A tour de force of your scroll saw expertise and, your patience. Just brought a lightly used DeWalt scroller into the shop. Haven't yet assembled it's stand. Due to your fantastic example, I have added impetus to get it done and, some inspiration, as well. Thanks, Fred. Report

June 21, 20224 yr comment_293110 A fantastic labor of love, congrats on 58 years I was wondering did you design this piece yourself? Report
June 21, 20224 yr Author Popular Post comment_293117 Pat asked - I was wondering did you design this piece yourself? -- - No. It was downloaded from "Design Bundles". Artie - With your tag line I guess you just started winging your clock a little after we did. Thanks all for the "congrats" on our marriage. I have to thank the good ole goverment for sending me to Homestead AFB after airborne radio/radar schooling. Being a Christian, I wanted to get back to church and the one I chose had a great youth group (I was only 19 at the time). I met Judy there. Went to her 16th birthday party. After 5 years of being best friends and I had graduated from the Air Force, we got married and the rest is history............ Edited June 21, 20224 yr by Fred Wilson Report
