June 1, 20224 yr Popular Post Mowing is done. Only off mower 2x in 6 hours (yet another stupid decision on my part). What feeling I do have in my right leg went numb too. Not sure which was worse though, the blazing sun or the 40 mph winds. I remember the good 'Ole days when I was complaining about the cold, blowing snow and spending all afternoon behind the snowblower. Anyways, consider this a PSA; Dave finished mowing, heavy rains expected in less than 24 hours.

June 1, 20224 yr The shop is now a ghost town. I am only service person here rest of day. Seems we had a revolt. Our store manager died month ago. His replacement was named today. They promoted a 24 years old service writer / oil change guy to top position. Store Manager. Yup, going to be real interesting my last week working here.

Your more than welcome to join me

June 2, 20224 yr Popular Post Got a dowel plate because I need to drawbore a bunch of tenons on the patio chair. I have rapidly come to the conclusion that I need to fabricate a holder for said dowel plate and an actual handtool bench that doesn’t bounce around when large amounts of force are applied to said dowel in training with a BFH. Looks like I have a lot of work to do to get this patio chair done…
